Library and Tech Lab

The mission of the Trinity Lutheran School Library
is to provide our students with quality literature
and supplemental materials to support all aspects
of the school curriculum.

IMG_4227Welcome to the Ruth B. Jameson Memorial Library.  Here, you’ll meet DESTINY, our friendly library catalog. With DESTINY, you can find any book in our library. Our library also houses Trinity’s technology lab, where student curiosity meets the learning tools of the 21st century.  Our Tech Lab was redesigned during the summer of 2016 (with another BIG refurb coming in 2018!) to allow for both the use of desktop computers and collaborative learning with our Chromebooks that each 4th-8th graders receives from the school.  These laptops were made available thanks to a generous donation from Masters Mechanical.

Students in grades Pre-K through 5, have at least one opportunity per week to visit the library during a weekly scheduled library period.  Students, with IMG_7618permission from their teachers, may also visit the library at any other time when classes are not scheduled in the library, provided the librarian or another adult is there to supervise and assist them.

Students may borrow books for a period of one week.  Books may be renewed for an additional week.  Back issues of periodicals may be checked out overnight for research purposes, if the student needs the material for a school assignment.

Online Research Tools:

These sites provide access to a multitude of informational resources. Trinity Lutheran School has no way of controlling what sensitive material may be available for reading or viewing, so please make sure to always monitor your child’s search results.
