Trinity Lutheran School is a private school located in the oldest historic area in Newport News. The school is located along the James River in the Hampton Roads area of southeastern Virginia near Northrup Grumman Shipbuilding.

Our community is bounded on one side by majestic Huntington Avenue, which overlooks the James River and takes you to the port areas of the city. Other communities that border the school are Suffolk, Smithfield, Carrollton, and Isle of Wight.

Warwick Boulevard forms the eastern boundary, which leads to Huntington Park and beach, the War Museum, historic Hilton, and the world-renowned Mariners' Museum.
